JP: Well here we are folks, back in Illinois
for another great MWF Monday Night Dynamite!
Sully: Look at this crowd...
[The camera zooms out from where JP and Sully are sitting, the one
thousand two hundred and fifty-five capacity crowd are shown waving
banners and making a hell of a lot of noise inside the arena in
Rockford, Illinois.]
JP: It's great to get this sort of reaction,
and its what, only our third show here in Illinois.
Sully: It's great stuff, I'm looking forward
to tonight especially JP because we'll finally get to see Nova take
out The Jeopardizer.
JP: Nova, take out The Jeopardizer?
Sully: Yeah...that's what I said.
JP: I really can't see that happening, Nova
might have his mysterious fan lurking but he isn't a patch on "The
King".
Sully: Sam King's lost his crown, and he's
lost his sparkle, he's not what he used to be.
JP: Sully, I hate to disappoint you but King
will never ever lose it.
Sully: I can't wait to see Nova back in
action, he's becoming a shinning example of the MWF.
JP: He's hardly been here, personal trouble
I believe.
Sully: We wish him well then, and we also
wish that he has the luck of the ring tonight.
JP: There is no luck involved tonight, you
have to make your luck in the MWF and Jay-Z deserves to make his luck
tonight.
Sully: Why? Because he's been carried all
the way by his tag team partner.
JP: He hasn't been carried by anyone, Jay-Z
and King are a great team and both men are great individual
competitors. I'll tell you something interesting.
Sully: What?
JP: Sam King has had the most matches here
in the MWF, he's been on almost every show.
Sully: Hmm, guess that might count for
something.
JP: It's amazing the facts and figures we
can dig up by poking around backstage, for example I get paid 23%
more than you do Sullivan.
Sully: Now that is just not right!
JP: Well I do far more work than you.
Sully: You write a pathetic excuse for a
column!
JP: And that takes time, so I get paid for
it.
Sully: And we all thought you did that
because of your love for the MWF, well it really is all about the
money isn't it JP.
JP: Oh shut up Sully!
[The cameras cut backstage and they find us with MWF World
Champion, Ross Allen, the crowd can be heard cheering from the arena
as Ross Allen stands looking into the camera.]
Allen: I've got something to show
you...
[Allen walks down the corridor, the camera following, he talks as
he walks.]
Allen: Now, I arrived here tonight, and
headed down here to my dressing room. I expect to find a nice room,
not too expensive but then not too much of an expense spared. I walk
down this very corridor, and I turn this corner, and I find
this...
[Allen points and the camera looks on part his hand to a dressing
room, the door is flung wide open and the camera peaks inside to find
that the contents of the room are thrown everywhere, paint has been
thrown over the walls, the remains of what was a sofa have been
trashed all over the room. Pictures on the walls of wrestling greats
have been torn to shreds, and laying in the doorway is a single black
rose. Allen stoops down and picks up the rose, plucks a petal from
it.]
Allen: I think this a clue...this is a real
clue...as to who is behind this, this shambles of a dressing room,
this viscous and un-motivated attack on myself. This dressing room
was scheduled to be mine, and I was sent down here by a backstage
officer...and if you look at the door..it reads Anarkist...now I
understand that perhaps Anarkist was meant to have this room, but
thats no excuse Rose...thats no excuse.
[Allen walks off down the corridor, the MWF World Title handing
loosely from his shoulder.]
JP: Where is he going?
Sully: To find whoever trashed his
room.
JP: What do you mean "whoever", it is
obvious who it is.
Sully: No it isn't...
JP: Mark Rose! The black rose left in the
doorway, it must of been Mark Rose, I used to respect that guy but he
wants to prove his toughness by tearing up a room, thats just not
right!
Sully: It was mean't to be Anarkist's room,
why is Ross involved.
JP: Because it was his stuff, his belongings
which were in that room.
Sully: Rose should of set it all on
fire.
JP: I think it's best we change the subject,
and lets focus on MWF March Madness.
Sully: You being paid more than me is pure
madness Pilkington...
JP: The MWF will be proud to present the
second Pay-Per-View of the new era, from Chicago, Illinois then all
the MWF's biggest stars will be out for a night of pure drama and
excellent wrestling.
Sully: As long as Mark Rose is there then it
will all be okay.
JP: Rumour is that Mark Rose will be
headlining, with either Anarkist or Ross Allen.
Sully: Finally! Someone worthwhile can take
that MWF World Title off that cocky son of a bitch, Ross
Allen!
JP: I think Allen's pretty confident he can
stay on top of the MWF for many months to come yet, besides Rose has
won what, two matches here in the MWF.
Sully: Yeah, he beat that turned bastard
Anarkist.
JP: And some other mediocre
performers.
Sully: Mediocre, now I might not like
Anarkist anymore but that man is not mediocre!
JP: He only won a match when Ross Allen
helped him!
Sully: He's one of the stronges men in the
MWF...and he makes people shake when he gets in the ring with them, I
want to see more of him in the MWF, although Mark Rose is by far and
away the better talent.
JP: So what do you reckon, Allen versus
Rose? Anarkist versus Rose? Anarkist versus Allen versus Rose?
Sully: It's the MWF JP, and as you often
say, anything can happen!
[The camera cuts backstage and the crowd settle down to watch as a
large red car pulls up at the entrance to the Rockford arena, there
are few photographs around at the time and a large security guard
steps from the car and holds the door open.]
JP: I wonder who is arriving hear
tonight.
Sully: Anyone but Allen!
JP: I'm sure the MWF World Champion will be
around tonight, he's never far away from the action.
Sully: Last I heard he was enjoying the
delights of Florida, or somewhere like that.
[A smaller man climbs out of the car, and the crowd in the arena
react angrily as the second man is the MWF's General Manager, Fozzy.]
Sully: Finally! He's come back to the
MWF.
JP: I was hoping his plane had been shot
down on his way home...but I guess he lives to corrupt another
day.
Sully: How can you disrespect this
man?
JP: Because he's a good for nothing,
heartless bastard!
Sully: He could strip your contract anyday,
or decrease your pay to the same as mine.
[Fozzy takes his suitcase and walks towards the arena entrance, an
MWF backstage worker rushes to meet the General Manager, and Ian
Gonzales the MWF's one and only interview is on hand and he walks up
to the General Manager.]
Gonzales: Fozzy! General Manager
Fozzy!
Fozzy: Yes I know who I am.
Gonzales: Ian Gonzales here, live with MWF
Monday Night Dynamite, everyone can see this camera.
Fozzy: Do you think I'm stupid or
something?
Gonzales: No, sir.
Fozzy: Good, then tell me something useful
and worthwhile that I want to know.
Gonzales: Well since you left, let me think,
the Nova and The Jeopardizer's match is going to happen tonight, for
the MWF Xtreme Title, what are your thoughts on that?
Fozzy: Be a good match, but I've got more
important things on my mind.
Gonzales: Ah yes, I am sure you have. How
was your business trip to Europe?
Fozzy: Well it was interesting to say the
least.
Gonzales: Before you left, you said you were
going to find the final piece of evidence that you needed to bring
MWF President Edward Walker down.
Fozzy: I said something along those
lines...
Gonzales: Well, did you find it?
Fozzy: I found something, and I brought it
back with me.
Gonzales: What is it?
Fozzy: Now that'd be telling wouldn't it
Ian, but you will find out in due course. I really need to be getting
into the arena, so if you wouldn't mind.
Gonzales: Of course Fozzy, thanks for your
time.
Fozzy: No problem.
[The MWF's General Manager lugs his suitcase through the double
doors and make his way to the reception. The camera cuts back to the
arena where a 'FUCK OFF FOZZ!' chant has broke out amongst the fans.]
JP: Fozzy being sent a clear message by the
MWF fans.
Sully: Disillusioned that is the right word
for those fans, they really don't appreciate their General Manager do
they?
JP: Of course they don't appreciate someone
as back-handed and back-stabbing as Fozzy!
Sully: Well what do you want as a General
Manager, the Pope? George Bush?
JP: George Bush!? Are you mad Sully.
Sully: No not mad...just insane!
JP: You sure got that right.
Sully: Can we focus on the next match now,
instead of you slagging off the General Manager.
JP: I guess we can, it's going to be a
cracker thought, I hope you were going to say that.
Sully: It could either be a wet fish or a
cracker, most likely it will be somewhere inbetween.
JP: Wildfire is always one to watch, a
bright young star he is, and with the MWF TV Title already under his
belt he looks to be building quite a reputation.
Sully: And a fanbase, he's one of those
wrestlers that most people like, has a very up-front style.
JP: Kaos and Scorpion.
Sully: What about them?
JP: What do you think of them?
Sully: I think Kaos is going to be a massive
star, he reminds me of good old Justin Sane in his attitude, the fans
sure do hate him.
JP: I think he's terrible, a real numbskull
if you ask me!
Sully: Well at least he's not
injured!
JP: A very good point Sully, we're up
against it in the way of injuries, and the roster was already
under-strength and now its even worse.
Sully: You asked about Scorpion, well when
he actually shows himself then I may faint with the shock.
JP: I hate the way that Ed gives them the
chance and they don't take it...its a chance for success!
Sully: It's not just Ed, it is Fozzy as
well, you're too damn bias JP.
JP: That's what I am paid to be.
Sully: Lets just watch Wildfire kick some
ass.
Wildfire versus Kaos versus Scorpion, MWF
Television Title Triple Threat Match
JP: A championship match now, folks. The TV
Title up for grabs as Wildfire defends against Kaos and
Scorpion.
Sully: I'm looking to see Kaos win this one,
John.
[Kaos' music bellows from the PA system and "The Killing Machine"
pushes through the curtain. The fans jeer heavily as he strides to
the ring, appearing psyched and ready to wrestle.]
Peter Santos: Introducing first, weighing in at an agile 222
pounds, standing at 6 ft 9 inches… "The Wild One"… Kaos!
Sully: You see - Kaos looks ready to
kill!
JP: Lets see what Wildfire and Scorpion look
like…
[Fans grow bored as nothing happens for a moment. Suddenly,
Scorpion appears on the entrance ramp. He slowly saunters to the
ring, a smile etched into his face. Kaos leans over the ropes, as if
wanting to take a swing at the distant foe. The crowd abruptly scream
as Wildfire is seen ducking and diving his way through the crowd,
directing himself towards the ring.]
JP: Wildfire is entering through the
crowd!
Sully: Doesn't he realise that those money
grabbing idiots will strip him of anything valuable!?
[His TV Title flails behind him as he arrives at the crowd
barrier. He leaps over and slides into the ring behind Kaos. Scorpion
is now just yards away from the squared circle. He leads his eyes
towards Wildfire, and Kaos turns to see the champion stood tall with
his title gripped in both arms. Kaos lunges forward with a fist, but
Scorpion dives into the ring and trips the 6ft 9 superstar. As Kaos
goes down, the bell rings and Wildfire begins to stomp aggressively.]
JP: A cleverly mapped out plan by Wildfire
and Scorpion.
Sully: They'll pay for this, just as soon as
Kaos gets to his feet.
[Scorpion takes over with the stomping, whilst Wildfire drops his
title from the ring. Referee Grant August orders him to the centre of
the ring.]
Sully: Looks like a tight night for rule
breaking.
JP: What a pity there isn't a rule against
you talking.
Sully: ...
[Wildfire and Scorpion lift the mighty Kaos, and hook his head for
a double suplex. At the last second, Scorpion drops away and school
boys Wildfire onto his shoulders! 1…2…shoulder up!]
Sully: That was damm sneaky!
[Scorpion leaps over Wildfire and lets out a flurry of rapid
punches. The champion breaks free and rolls to the side of the ring,
by which time Kaos is stood behind Scorpion. He takes the smaller
wrestler by the neck and suplex's him over onto his front.]
JP: It's not like me to swear, but… SHIT!
That was amazing!
Sully: Hooray! Break their necks,
Kaos!
[Wildfire pulls himself to the turnbuckle and stands. Kaos
approaches and whips Wildfire into the opposite corner. As Wildfire
reaches the corner he leaps onto the top rope and moansaults in Kaos'
direction. He hits successfully, knocking the giant down. Instead of
going for the cover, Wildfire springs up and hits a standing
moansault. Now covering..1…2…kick out!]
JP: Good agility from Wildfire. That's the
kinda' thing that'll beat Kaos.
Sully: Take a look at Scorpion. He's totally
stoned!
[Scorpion is limp, however his eyes circle their sockets randomly.
Wildfire jumps from Kaos and moves to Scorpion. He picks him up and
goes for a DDT, but Scorpion pushes him away. Wildfire stumbles
backwards and trips over the huge body of Kaos. Scorpion wobbles
across the ring and waits for an opponent to stand. Eventually, Kaos
finds his feet and moves toward Scorpion. The wrestlers lock up. Kaos
uses his shape to his advantage, and pushes Scorpion to the floor.
Just as Kaos is about to release Scorpion, Wildfire hits a running
dropkick from nowhere. Kaos arches back in pain. Scorpion drops to
the corner and Wildfire stands up. He mounts the rear of Kaos and
blinds him with an eye rake. The fans cheer like crazy.]
Sully: This is ridiculous. Does Wildfire
think this is a game? GO HOME AND PLAY NINTENDO ASSHOLE!
JP: Sully! No one plays Nintendo anymore!
It's Playstation or GameCube.
Sully: I don't give a crap! As long as
Wildfire quits playing around I'm happy!
[Kaos attempts to shake away Wildfire, but it's useless. Wildfire
climbs up the back of Kaos, and eventually stands on his shoulders.]
Sully: Not a circus! I repeat &endash; not a
circus!
[Wildfire leaps from Kaos' shoulders and lands on the turnbuckle.
He turns to see Kaos dizzying around the ring, and Scorpion flat out
on the mat. He signals to the fans.]
JP: He's gonna' hit The Crisis!
[Wildfire jumps and makes a 720 flip in mid-air, landing flat on
Scorpion. August makes the count. 1…2…Kaos makes the fortunate save,
falling over Wildfire. All three wrestlers lie in a crumpled heap.
Scorpion slowly heaves himself from underneath the other two, and
drops from the ring. Kaos then stands and takes a couple of steps
backwards, awaiting Wildfire's rise. As Wildfire stands and steadies
himself, Kaos turns him and hits The End! Both men hit the ground,
and Wildfire's jaw takes the brunt of the move. Kaos pins him down.
1…2…KKKRRHH! Scorpion hits Kaos over the spine with a steel chair.]
Sully: Damn it!
JP: Scorpion stopped Kaos from winning the
TV Title, but also ruined his own chances. We've got a DQ on our
hands now, folks.
Peter Santos: And the winner of the match, due to
disqualification… Kaos! But still your Television Champion…
Wildfire!
[Scorpion slams the chair into the ground and sprints from the
ring. Kaos stands and stomps his foot down, obviously enraged by the
turn of events. He storms from the ring and out of sight, leaving
just Wildfire in the ring &endash; his title thrown over his chest by
the referee.]
JP: What a match that was Sully!
Sully: Absolutly fascinating contest, and a
good man won in the end, but he sure was pushed close by the other
two.
JP: Kaos looked particularly good, I think,
even though I despise him, he could have a future.
Sully: Sorry to turn your attention away
from the match JP, but something is happening backstage.
