[In front of the arena, a bus pulls up, and Kid Insanity gets off,
and heads towards the entrance to the arena. He is walking with a
purpose, and walking alone. A moment later, a taxi pulls up, and
Biggles the Jenks gets out, and rushes up to join Kid Insanity.]
Biggles the Jenks: Hey, wait up!
Kid Insanity: Got things to do, Jenkies. You
need to keep up.
Biggles the Jenks: You could have at least
let me get my clothes on before you rushed out the door.
[Kid Insanity ignores the comment as they enter the building. They
walk straight through the corridor, and enter the arena area. Kid
Insanity, not waiting for music or anything, marches right into the
ring, and steps through, demanding a mic.]
Kid Insanity: Don't even start my damn
music. For weeks now, I have been under-rated, under-appreciated, and
under-used by the so-called managment around here. Well, it's time
for a change. It's time for things to get turned up a notch. I will
no longer wait for my next match. From now on, I make the calls
around here! There won't be another "Danglin Johnson" incident. That,
I am thankful to say, wasn't my mistake. It was hers!
[Kid Insanity nods in the direction of Biggles the Jenks, who is
behind Kid Insanity, skipping around. She looks at him, and just
shrugs. He squints his eyes at him, and shakes his head. Then, he
turns his attention back to the arena.]
Kid Insanity: Tonight, folks, I will be in
the backstage area. Scouting. Looking. Feeling out the competition.
Tonight, one of you unlucky superstars back there will be my next
opponent. Will I choose wisely, or will I choose poorly? Don't much
matter to me, either way. I just want a match, a good match, a high
profile match. I want a match against someone who is going to push me
to the limits, like I will push them. No more Danglin Johnsons'. No
more Screwlooses'. So if you think you have even the slightest bit of
talent, you had better keep both eyes open, and peeled. Because you
don't know which corner I will be around! It's my time, now! It's
time to get Insane!
[With that, he drops the mic, and throws his arms in the air, only
to be met with numerous boos from the crowd. Shrugging his shoulders,
he leaves the ring. Biggles the Jenks was spinning around in circles
with her arms wide apart behind him, and she misses him leaving the
ring. When she finally rights herself, he is halfway up the ramp, and
she squeals, and runs up to catch him.]
