"The Ruthless Rookie" Kidd Kidman

versus

Joe Foale

Singles Match

Referee: Grant August

JP: And here we go! Two young and promising superstars are set to square off! Joe Foale takes on Kidd Kidman.

Sully: Joe Foale is going to make very short work of this rookie!

JP: What makes you say that? Kidman is a very promising young man.

Sully: Well look what happened two weeks ago, Foale dominated over your precious Anarkist, this is going to be a walk in the park for him!

JP: We'll just see about that. Remember Sully, don't count your chickens before they hatch!

Sully: What was that about cookin' chickens? Oh never mind, here he comes now.

[The sound of Freak On A Leash' by Korn hits the PA, and out walks Joe Foale. Foale walks out in front of the capacity crowd, to nothing short of a heated entrance. Joe Foale walks down the ramp and steps into the ring, greeted by the referee, who gives him a few words.]

Peter Santos: Hailing from Miami, Florida. Weighing in at 203 lbs, 6 feet, Joe Foale!

[In The End' by Linkin Park hits next and out walks The Ruthless Rookie. Kidman walks out to a rather mediocre reception from the fans. A small amount of them cheer, and roughly the same of them boo the young man. He walks out hailing the fans as he decends the ramp. ]

Peter Santos: Hailing from Manchester, England. Weighing in at 210 lbs, 5'10", 'The Ruthless Rookie' Kidd Kidman!

[Kidman gets to the bottom of the ramp, but pauses before entering the ring, as Foale turns and begins to yell trash at the Ruthless Rookie. Kidman retaliates with some strong words of his own. The argument is short lived however as Foale steps back and signals for Kidman to get into the ring. Kidman accepts the invitation and slides under the bottom rope. Before he can get to his feet Foale lunges forward and stomps the young Kidman forcing him to stay down on the mat. ]

Sully: Ha! See, told ya Foale would make short work of him!

JP: For the love of pete Sully, we're only a few seconds into the match!

[Foale continues to step into Kidd Kidman's head for a while longer before dropping down a forcing Kidman's shoulders to the mat, hoping to end things very quickly. The ref drops and starts the count ...1... kick out! Showing evidence that he still has a whole lot of fight in him, Kidman forcefully kicks out breaking the pin. Foale eyes the referee as if telling him to know his place. He grabs hold of Kidd's hair and sits him up. Foale gets to his feet and brings Kidman with him, but Kidman breaks Joe's hold with a stiff elbow to the gut. Foale buckles over in pain and Kidman leads towards the ropes with great speed. Kidman bounces off of the ropes and hits a swinging neck breaker on Foale.]

JP: This is MwF at it's finest Sully, just as quickly as things go one way, they shift and take a 180!

Sully: Sorta like your old friend King! Look where that's got him. You'll see, this is just a minor set back for Foale.

[Kidman is quick to continue his assult as he moves over to Foale and forces him to his feet. Kidman pushes Foale causing him to run against the opposing ropes. As Foale rebounds and returns towards Kidd, Kidd reaches down and hits an earth shaking side walk slam. As he gets to one knee after the move, Kidman takes a second to show boat to the fans. During this brief pause in the action, Foale manages to regain his composure and gets to his feet behins Kidman. Oblivious to Foale, who is now on his feet, Kidman turns around and is greated with a lightning quick spinning heel kick. Foale hurries to his feet and brings Kidman up with him. Joe forces Kidd back into the corner. Foale takes a step back before getting a run towards Kidman. Foale reaches the corner and jumps up off the second rope wrapping his legs around Kidman's neck and falling backwards, nailing a beautifully executed modified hurricanrana.]

Sully: Whoa ho! Did you see that! Look at the sheer innovation from this guy, it's mind boggling!

JP: It sure is Sully, this guy has a bright future in front of him.

[With Kidman laying motionless in the middle of the ring Foale decides to go up top. He runs to the same turnbuckle he was just at and climbs up to the top rope. Foale looks down at Kidman who is still not moving, and then leaps up towards the prone Kidman. Foale looks for a cross body and it seems as though he's going to hit it when at the last second Kidman manages to get his knees up, connecting them with the falling aboment of Joe Foale. Foale bounces off of Kidman holding his stomach in pain, and Kidman rolls onto his knees, taking a moment to catch his breathe. Kidman moves over to Foale who is on all fours holding his abs, and pulls him to his feet. Kidd holds onto Foale belly to back and then throws Foale up into the air backwards hitting a hard german suplex. The strong grip of the Ruthless Rookie hangs on tight and allows Kidman to get to his feet again and hit another consecutive german suplex. This time Kidman let's go of the hold and sends Foale crashing down hard on the back of his head. Foale staggers to his feet falling back on the ropes, as he struggles to get to his feet. Meanwhile Kidman is stalking the young Foale. Foale finally manages to get to his feet and he takes a step forward only to be met with a kick to the gut by Kidman who then grabs hold of Foale and hits a huge Twist of Fate out of nowhere! Foale's face crashes down onto the mat, and Kidman quickly covers ....1....2.... no! Foale somehow manages to dig deep and get his shoulder off of the mat before the three.]

JP: My god that was close! Where the hell did that Twist of Fate come from?

Sully: Close? No, this is all an elaborate plan on Foale's part. He's luring Kidman into a false sense of security, just you wait.

[Kidman can't believe that his Twist of Fate wasn't enough to keep Foale down, and he argues with the ref that that was a slow count. The ref will have none of it arguing back, telling Kidman to worry about the match. Kidman then turns his attention back to the downed Foale and brings him to his feet. Deciding to go with what works, Kidman goes belly to back on Foale again, hoping to his more german suplexes. Kidman reaches down and tries to throw Foale back, but somehow Foale has found the stength to resist. Kidman's face becomes red with anger as he reaches even lower trying again to hit the suplex. Once again Foale manages to hold on, and defends for a second time against the suplex. Kidman is now furious and gives it everything he's got, finally managing to hit the move. Foale is sent flying backwards behind Kidman, getting incredible air. Foale though somehow manages to flip in mid air, landing on his feet. Kidman, thinking he's gotten Foale, takes his time to turn around, giving Foale enough time to balance himself. Kidman finally turns around and sees Foale flying towards him with his arm extended. Foale leaps at Kidman connecting with the Foale Pole! Kidman's head whips back and crashes down to the mat. Foale's body lands hard, and Foale is too exhausted to go for the cover. Both men are down, and the ref starts the count .....1......2.....3.....4....]

Sully: No it can't end like this, get up! Come on, someone get up!

[.....5.... Foale starts to stir .....6.....7..... Kidman starts to stir ....8..... Foale manages to get to one knee, and then with the help of the ropes gett to his feet. Kidman does the exact same on the opposite ropes. Both men take a few seconds to themselves and then realise that there is a match at hand. They both look up and stare at eachother. Foale gets to his feet and charges towards Kidman. Kidman gets his leg up, and tries for a super kick, but Foale ducks the attack. Foale continues to run and bounces off the ropes. On the rebound he extends his arm trying for a clothesline, but Kidman see that move coming and ducks it. Kidman then leans backwards and bounces off the ropes as Foale continues on towards the ropes in front of him. Both men rebound and run at eachother. They simultaneously jump into the air and hit eachother with their respective cross bodies. Both men again go down. ]

JP: These two men are on the exact same page here, they're both doing the same moves at the same time. This could go either way.

Sully: Oh no! Looks whos up!

[With Foale down holding onto his neck, Kidman finally starts to stir. He struggles to his feet and staggers back, falling into the turnbuckle. Seeing that Foale is still down, Kidman turns around and realises where he is. Kidman drags himself up onto the top rope and pauses, as the fans begin to scream. Kidman smiles and then stands up, and leaps off of the turnbuckles. Kidman soars through the air and flips aiming for a huge shooting star press. Foale's distance seems to be a problem, but Kidman's course is already set.]

JP: There's no way, he's too far! Kidman's going to kill himself!

Sully: Come on Foale, get up! Get out of the way!

[Kidman soars in the air for what seems like forever. He finally begins to come down and we see that he has actually managed to jump the proper distance as he comes crashing down onto Foale's chest with a thundering smash. Foale starts twithing as a result of the move, and Kidman is trying to muster the strength to cover him. He inches towards the fallen Foale and manages to drop one arm over his chest. The ref quickly drops and makes the cover ....1....2....3! ]

Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall. 'The Ruthless Rookie' Kidd Kidman!

Sully: Son of a ...

JP: My goodness that was an amzing match! The young Kidd Kidman summouned enough to climb the mountain and pull out a hard fought victory over Joe Foale! By the way, watch your language Sully!

Sully: Ya ya, whatever you say mother!

[The crowd explode with anger as "Comeback" by Foo Fighters hits the arena and the MWF President walks out onto the entrance way, his face smiles as he looks around at the capacity crowd in the sold out arena in Council Bluffs, Iowa.]

JP: There is the man who single-handedly ruined the MWF...

Sully: It isn't ruined, he just made us all look like fools and is now despised the world over for pulling one of the sickest stunts in wrestling.

JP: Dear, dear, what a great man we used to think he was.

Sully: Do you think he'll ever regain the fans support?

JP: I think secretly we all do love him...but I sure as hell hate him right now, especially as he is teaming up with those Canadian bastards.

[A mike is in his hand as he steps towards the ring, the President slides under the ropes and then stands, shakes the hand of Peter Santos and motions for the crowd to be silent. The crowd respond by quietening as they are eager to find out who Anarkist will be facing at MAYhem.]

Sully: I bet it'll be that good for nothing bastard Sam King...

JP: If only we were psycic Sully, then we'd have known months ago!

Sully: I doubt Ed had made up his mind until tonight...

JP: I couldn't pick that's for sure, there is so much talent in the MWF at the moment.

Sully: Bet he picks one of his Canadian puppies!

[The MWF President stares at the crowd and then launches into his speech.]

Walker: For night's I have toiled on end to decided who shall take the rightful place and stand with Anarkist at MWF: MAYhem. I've worked breathlessly towards getting the best man for the job....I understand you all want Anarkist to win, that is understandable as he is a man who even I admit, would make a good MWF World Champion. However, the MWF World Champion should not be a man who headbutts his employer and knocks him to the ground!

[The crowd go up with laughter at the mention of the ugly scene backstage last week.]

Walker: It's not a laughing matter!

JP: Oh yes it is! I thought it was hilarious!

Sully: Anarkist gets a couple of extra points for that move...

Walker: Silence!

[The savagary in Walker's voice is enough to make most of the arena fall silent, a few small children start crying.]

Walker: I'm only out here because every single last one of you snivveling bastards are paying money to see my shows....we have a relationship where I need you...and you need me. So, I thought about who you'd want to see, then I thought why listen to the fans?

JP: It is generally a good idea to listen to the fans as they pay the money!

[The crowd are jeering now, Ed shouts over them.]

Walker: Then I realised, fuck it, I am doing what I want to do...the MWF is a place for freedom and individuality and I'm enjoying myself! Anarkist....at MAYhem, you will face a man who many consider deserves the MWF World Title, more than you. He's a man who has been with one of the most successful tag teams of the past six months...a man who has brought thousands of fans to the MWF. He's battled in matches that you could only dream about...that man.....is.....Sam King!

[The majority of the crowd roar at the announcement of Sam King, a few are jeering and a couple of "Jay-Z" chants go up.]

Sully: I told you it would be Sam King!

JP: Looks like Sam, even though he hasn't won a match for weeks is going to get the chance to redeem himself.

Sully: Perhaps he can get the win tonight against the "Connection" and add something under his belt?

JP: I hope so, or Anarkist could make mincemeat out of him.

Sully: I doubt Sam will have The Jeopardizer backing him up at MAYhem.

["Not Enough" by Our Lady Peace hits the PA system and the crowd cheer as the former MWF Xtreme and Tag Team Champion makes his way down to the ring, the MWF President applauds King as he pauses for the fans.]

JP: He's been there and done it in the MWF, now it is time for him to take the giant leap to the Main Event...

Sully: I was sort of hoping that Ed would choose a Canadian.

JP: They're not ready for that kind of spotlight yet!

Sully: In my eyes they're more qualified than Sam King and the other rabble...

JP: What about Joe Foale?

Sully: He turned out to be a nothing didn't he, and he'll never be a something, he's all hype!

[Sam King is now in the ring, he shakes the MWF President's hand and then turns away and recieves a mixed reaction from the fans for his action. King takes a mike.]

King: Well, well, well....after all the trials and tribulations then it all comes down to this. I once, was a novice to this place, a wrestler who could get Xtreme at the best of times...well now is the time to show that I can get Xtreme all the time. Anarkist...I hope you're listening!

["Papercut" by Linkin Park blasts from the PA system and the crowd almost blow the roof off the arena as Anarkist walks slowly down the entrance ramp. He looks at the ring and smiles as King gestures to Anarkist....a mike is brought to Anarkist on the entrance ramp. He is paused half way down the ramp, his eyes fixed on Sam King.]

King: Decided to show your face after last week's humilation?

Anarkist: It wasn't humiliating for me, it was rather more for you. I wouldn't call laying on a lady's lap for half the match much of a contribution!

[The crowd go into uproar at this comment and King blushes with embarrasment.]

Anarkist: Often find yourself in the lap of women don't you Sam?

King: I'd watch yourself Anarkist.

Anarkist: Why should I? You forget, I am like you, I don't care anymore as long as I get that MWF World Title.

King: You'd better be ready for one hell of a fight at MAYhem, the MWF President has put his trust in me.

Walker: Certainly have.

Anarkist: Shut the fuck up Walker!

[The MWF President's face burns red with anger at Anarkist's comment, the crowd gasp and then respond with a huge "Shut The Fuck Up" chant, directed at the MWF President.]

King: You can't talk to the man like that....

Anarkist: No? What you going to do about it Sam? Stab me in the back tonight...don't worry you won't be the first, screw your damn head on Sam and wise up, we've got a couple of Canadian's to take care of tonight and I'll be damned if you try and get an advantage over me going into MAYhem. I shall not put up with any games or tricks, I am out here to be the best I can and being the best means holding the MWF World Title. If you decided to get in my way...then you'll be moved out of it.

[Anarkist drops the mike and makes his way back up the ramp as Sam King hands his mike back to Peter Santos. King talks to the MWF President and Walker seems to be reassuring the former Tag Team Champion.]

JP: Wow! What an exchange of words there, the MWF is going to see one hell of a fight at MAYhem, now just five days away!

Sully: Sam King versus Anarkist, two men have the chance to show their dream and I hope they both get the chance to realise it...but I can't for the life of me pick a winner.

JP: I'm going with Anarkist, he has the crowd support.

Sully: Always the crowd support, it'll make no difference whether there are two fans or two thousand, King has more matches under his belt.

JP: Tonight is Sam King's twentieth MWF match, wonder if he'll finally grab that win he's been hoping for.

[The camera cuts backstage, The Jeopardizer is walking down the corridor, the MWF Xtreme Title on his shoulder...he walks past the main locker room. As he walks past then the door opens and a familiar figure speaks...]

Voice: I've been watching you...

["Jay-Z" stops, and turns, and his faces fails to show any recognition of the man who stands before him.]

The Jeopardizer: Who the hell....are you?

Voice: Drebbin, Chris Drebbin.

The Jeopardizer: That piece of trash that got put through a car by Anarkist!

Drebbin: Yeah....that's me, but I don't want to talk about that.

[The Jeopardizer steps right up into the face of Drebbin, he breathes heavily all over Drebbin.]

The Jeopardizer: So what d'ya want to talk about then?

Drebbin: Seeing as your right in my face, how about I get in your face at MAYhem.

The Jeopardizer: I've been waiting for something like you to come along...

Drebbin: You have?

The Jeopardizer: I guess you didn't quite get the message when Anarkist put you through the car...you're not wanted here. You're an ugly son of a bitch who likes to run his mouth like Italian's run their motors....

Drebbin: I can back up what I say!

The Jeopardizer: Come MAYhem we'll see if you really can...

[The Jeopardizer walks off down the corridor, he takes the Xtreme Title from his shoulder and lets is hang from his hand as Chris Drebbin watches on.]

JP: Chris Drebbin's back in the MWF...

Sully: He's one hell of a nasty guy, and after what Anarkist did to him I am suprised he can still walk!

JP: Anarkist's brutal attack almost cost Chris Drebbin his career.

Sully: Thankfully he's back again to entertain us, the MWF needs someone like him.

JP: He sounds like Joe Foale all over again!

Sully: Anarkist seems to have a lot of enemies, Drebbin and Foale would do well to team up/

JP: They could be a dangerous team, talking of dangerous teams then the "Canadian Connection" are proving the be one hell of a dominant force in the MWF.

Sully: They're unstoppable!

JP: But they may meet their match tonight, The Jeopardizer and Anarkist, plus Sam King, have formed together to attempt to put a stop to the march of the Canadian's.

Sully: Be a close call...but I think Rick and Hart got enough heart to come through this...besides something tells me the war between Anarkist and Sam King is only just beginning.

JP: That may be so, but they share a common enemy.

Sully: Not any longer, Anarkist is just as much an enemy to Sam King as the "Connection".

JP: And how will "Jay-Z" and "The King" work together...can they get back that old spark?
