[The crowd roar as "Song 2" by Blur plays over the PA system and
the MWF cameras swoop over the arena in Champaign, Illinois. John
Pilkington and Tim Sullivan are shown as the camera cuts to their
announce table.]
JP: We're here in Champaign, Illinois for
another of these special nights we like to call Monday Night
Dynamite!
Sully: It's going to be a hell of a show as
usual, we've got close to four and a half thousand fans in
attendance.
JP: We've got the best wrestlers you could
ever hope to see in Illinois in your lifetime, the MWF World Champion
will be in the ring once again as he continues in his quest to become
the greatest MWF World Champion in the history of the MWF.
Sully: I doubt he'll do it, he just annoys
the hell out of me with his arrogant attitude.
JP: Arrogant! You can talk!
Sully: Who is arrogant in your opinion
then?
JP: Well that new guy, LaVey...all his
satantistic ways are terrible, what kind of an impression does it
give to the outside world when he goes round spewing out all that
garbage.
Sully: Something tells me he takes offense
to your constant slagging off John.
JP: He can do all he wants but I'll keep
talking away!
[The bright lights that illuminate the jam-packed MwF arena in
Champaign, Illinois jolt off, leaving the building in the pitch black
dark. With a piercing explosion a row of flaming pyrotechnics shoot
skywards, leaving the fans with shattered nerves. Manowar's "Bridge
of Death" reverberates around the arena, now the crowd jump to their
feet and jeer the incoming star. All alone a solitary spotlight
shines down in the centre of the ring. From above, up in the rafters,
a large silhouette stands, looking down on the thousands of people
below. Without a second thought the figure jumps down from the one
hundred foot drop, his weight supported by a strong harness. About
twenty feet away from the ring the man stretches out his arms like an
angel and another spotlight beams onto the deaf-defying man revealing
it to be none other than LaVey. Just a couple of yards above the ring
LaVey unclips himself and lands on his feet. LaVey is covered by his
ceremonial black robe, only a small portion of his ashen coloured
face is visible. "The Higher Power" calls for a microphone which is
promptly provided by the MwF timekeeper.]
JP: What does this fruitcake think he's
doing out here? In my opinion he shouldn't even be allowed in the
crowd let alone in the ring!
[LaVey raises his arms towards the heavens and the lights slowly
begin to come back to life. Circling the ring for several seconds
LaVey draws in the boos from the crowd before waiting for them to
hush down again.]
LaVey: It's to be expected that you mock me.
You have all been pre-programmed to be ignorant and closed minded.
One person I expected better of though was John Pilkington over their
at the commentary booth.
Sully: Why did you have to go running your
mouth JP? LaVey is all seeing and all hearing!
LaVey: The job of a commentator is to
provide match analyse without bias. Yet I was reading your little
column this week and you wrote that I was babbling Satanic
references. When I think of the word babbling I think of someone
talking about something they have no idea about, it was you who was
doing the babbling Pilkington. You're not only ignorant but you're
stupid, that's the cardinal sin of Satanism. You must be
punished.
[LaVey drops his microphone, steps over the top rope of the ring
and jumps down to the floor, just in front of the commentary
position. Both Sully and JP get to their feet, Sully is backing off
but JP remains defiant in his place.]
JP: I'm entitled to my opinion dammit!
[LaVey doesn't listen to him, instead he grabs him by the throat
and tosses him over the desk and onto the padded floor below. JP
bounces off and tries to scramble to his feet but LaVey picks him up
and rolls him into the ring, then "The Higher Power" jumps onto the
apron and climbs over the top rope. JP crawls over to the corner,
trying to protect himself. However LaVey shows no mercy, he drags JP
up by his lapels. LaVey hauls John Pilkington up and drops him over
his back so he is placed in a human-hangman position. He holds JP by
his neck while the helpless commentator dangles behind his back. Just
as it appears LaVey is going to connect with the "Gateway to Hell" a
loud roar comes from the crowd. Running down the ramp is MwF TV
champion Troy Knight! LaVey drops JP down, Pilkington takes the
chance to scurry out of the ring with his health still intact.]
Sully: JP is saved, you know I almost wish
he'd taken that move then he'd shut up for five minutes!
[Troy Knight stands, staring at LaVey who stares right back at the
MWF Television Champion. The crowd are roaring Troy Knight's name as
the MWF Television Champion turns and makes his way back up the
ramp.]
Sully: Well that was short lived but the
real battle will come later tonight when the two men meet in the
ring, man to man and JP will be giving his opion.
[JP has found his mike and rejoins Sully, he is still panting for
breath.]
JP: That was...close
Sully: Sure was John, you need to try and
keep that mouth of yours in check in the future.
JP: I owe Troy Knight one for that timely
interception.
Sully: Yeah without him you'd be planted on
your neck.
JP: I hope the next match has a hell of a
lot of action, The Vine is taking on new boy Jay T in a singles match
and I have my eye on The Vine as a future champion.
Sully: You are your predications, well to
contradict you I see Vine getting somewhere but not up to MWF World
Championship level...that's a little too beyond his level.
JP: How can you be sure?
Sully: Because just look at him, when he
comes out here he doesn't act like an MWF World Champion...he doesn't
have the build, the style, that factor which you need to be the MWF
World Champion.
JP: He's against second rate opposition,
when we saw him against Sean Harley last week he wrestled like a true
hero.
Sully: Yeah and look at the beating he got
for it, he could of run away and escaped the entire force of Dom
Stoate but no he wanted to stay and fight.
JP: He didn't get much of a choice! Harley
and Stoate were on him and he didn't see that chair shot coming...I
don't think anyone did.
Sully: I am glad Stoate did that, it was a
satisfying thud that's for sure.
JP: The MWF will be a little different once
Stoate comes out tonight and explains all his actions over what
happened last week when he turned his back on the fans who had
welcomed him to the MWF.
Sully: He didn't turn his back on them, they
don't realise that his force are quite possibly the saviours of the
MWF.
JP: What makes you say that?
Sully: You've got Sean Harley who is the
former MWF Television Champion and then you have Sozzey and Mak a tag
team who tonight will show Kidman and Hell Fire Kidd exactly who is
the boss.
JP: Where does The Vine fit into all
this?
Sully: The Vine is proof that Stoate's force
are to be reckoned with! He had the shit beaten out of him and I
don't think that's the last time we'll see someone having the
stuffing knocked out of them by Stoate's boys.
JP: We'll see if Jay T can turn the tables
on The Vine here...I doubt he can as The Vine has that extra class
that makes him a contender for serious gold in the MWF.
