"The Highlight Of The Night" Chavo Hierro

versus

"The Headliner" Hart Evans w/Rick "Acid" Jones and Amanda

Singles Match

Referee: Chad Pattison

JP: This could be an important match, Sully - for both Hierro and Evans. If Hart Evans walks away victorious, it's gonna push the Canadian Connection's dominance even higher, and if Hierro wins, it's gonna be a big upset!

[Bawitdba, by Kid Rock hits the PA system and the majority of the crowd breaks out in boos. Clad in baggy pants and a tight shirt, Chavo Hierro swaggers out cockily and jogs down the ramp.

Sully: This guy has impressed be, JP! I don't know about you, but he certainly deserved his roster place!

JP: I'm not so sure, Sully. I don't like Hart Evans one bit, but I have to favour Evans for the win here tonight.

[Hierro enters the ring and taunts to the crowd, still with a cocky smile on his face. He leans over the rope and shouts something at the front row.]

JP: He certainly isn't lacking in confidence!

Peter Santos: In the ring, from El Paso, Texas, weighing in at 235lbs, 'Wild Thing' CHAVO HIERRO!

[Hardline's "Taking Me Down" hits the PA system and the Canadian wastes no time as he storms out, clad in his usual black leather jacket with "Headline' sprawled across the back. He doesn't seem bothered by the amount of boos he is getting from the crowd. Hierro looks down at Hart Evans standing in front of the ring looking back up at the Texan. He taps the Tag Team gold around his waist and shouts something up to Hierro, which seems to incense the Texan!]

Sully: Evans is doing the right thing, trying to annoy Hierro before the match, that's gonna loose Hierro's concentration.

Peter Santos: Making his way to the ring, from Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 235lbs, 'The Headliner' HART EVANS!

[Hierro slides into the ring, and drops his title halfway in. He slides under Hierro's legs and takes down the 'Wild Thing' with an impressive array of right hands. He climbs off the Texan and drops a quick leg-drop to the throat. He lifts his hands up, saluting to the crowd, and a few cheer on the Canadian Connection member. Hierro climbs to his feet and trips up Evans from behind. He grabs the 'Headliner' with his arm and locks in a headlock. Evans fights out quickly and rolls to the other side of the ring. Both men stand up and looks at each other from opposite sides of the ring. Hierro begins to smile as he breathes heavily.]

JP: What a fast-paced match up this could be, Sully. Both men getting off to a raring start here, in the first match at MWF MAYhem!

Sully: Hierro is gonna get down and dirty I propose as the match progresses, JP. But I've a feeling Evans is gonna try and keep this one on the ground.

JP: That's the cleverest thing I've heard you say, Sully! I am inclined to agree.

[Hierro and Evans lock-up in the centre of the ring. Hierro's very slight height advantage allows him to get over Evans, and take him down with a quick DDT. Evans rolls in to he corner and Hierro runs and hits Evans with a drop kick in the corner. Evans only takes half the impact, and manages to roll away to safety. Hierro goes for a clothesline, but Evans takes down the 'Wild Thing' with a perfectly timed Implant DDT! He goes for the cover: 1… Hierro kicks out!]

Sully: Far too early from Evans! Come on, this match has gotta get more dirty! Get the chairs out!

JP: Sully, please! This is a civilised match.

[Hart Evans picks up Chavo Hierro and whips him against the ropes. On his return he hits another timed move, this time an atomic drop. The 'Headliner' locks on a Reverse Chinlock to Hierro who immediately tries to fight out. Hart Evans keeps the move applied, and Hierro seems to fading fast. The referee checks Chavo Hierro, but he almost out of it.]

Sully: Evans has won it!

JP: No way! Sully, he hasn't won it. He hasn't tapped. But, ladies and gentlemen, this could be the quickest victory yet if Chavo does tap!

[Hierro suddenly opens his eyes wide. He is still not moving very much, but he seems to be trying his hardest to fight the move. Hierro reaches behind desperately and manages to rake the eyes Of Evans. Evans clutches his eyes in pain, giving the cheating Hierro a chance to break free. The 'Wild Thing' crawls out of the ring holding his neck. He is breathing heavily, but still in the match. Evans seems to be a little pissed off at how Chavo broke the move, though.]

JP: Damnit!

Sully: Haha! Diirrtty! I think Chavo heard what I said. Now.. BRING ON THE CH-

JP: SULLY! Will you calm down…!

[The 'Headliner' is telling Hierro to get back into the ring. Reluctantly, the 'Wild Thing' slides into the ring. Evans goes straight over and goes to take him into the corner. Hierro manages to dodge Hart Evans somehow. Evans turns round only to be kicked in the face by a massive superkick from Hierro! Hierro smiles evilly as he goes up, onto the top rope!]

JP: Oh my, how the tables have turned! Chavo Hierro is about to hit the 'Hierro Splash'!

[Chavo goes onto the top rope and looks down at Hierro, who seems to be almost knocked out on the mat. Hierro wins at the crowd, before descending off the top turnbuckle! He twists in the air, and connects hard… with the mat!! The majority of the crowd let out a big "ooh" as the 'Wild Thing' holds his back in pain, as he writhes around on the canvas.

Sully: DID YOU SEE THAT, JP?! He hit the canvas so damn hard!

JP: I saw it alright! I hope Chavo's alright… that really was some impact.

['The Headliner' gets to his feet, and picks up Hierro's legs. He shouts something to the crowd and locks on the 'MapleLeaf'! Hierro tries to reach the ropes but to no avail. Before long, The 'Wild Thing can do nothing but tap out! The crowd erupts in boos for the Canadian. He is handed his tag team title belt, as Rick Acid runs out to join his tag partner. The two rejoice in the ring.]

Peter Santos: And your winner, through submission, Hart Evans!

JP: As predicted, another win for the Canadian Connection! They're proving how strong they really are.

Sully: Rick Acid has the chance to increase their lead, JP! He's going for the TV title against Wildfire and the returning Kaos later tonight!

JP: Going to be a great match that one...

Sully: I think we need to take a break!

[The MWF comes back from the commercial break and back into the Pay Per View, MWF MAYhem sitting at ringside are Sully and JP. JP is wearing a black MWF shirt while Sully is wearing a MWF MAYhem shirt. The two begin talking.]

JP: Well Sully what a night it has been here at MAYhem, this would have to be one of the best Pay Per View in MWF history, and we've only had one match!

[But before Sully can say anything The TitanTron lights up and the camera becomes focused on it as the crowd let out a sound of frustration]

Sully: What the hell!?

[A small video begins to play on the titantron and before the video starts "8 Mile Road" by Eminem begins to play in the background, the video begins to roll and text fills it first. The text says "He's back" and then a video of Matt "The Maimer" Moore Maiming Rick Jones is shown, then it shows in slow motion Moore's Krippler connecting with Ricks jaw. It also shows Moore celebrating on the turnbuckles after and before his match. The crowd are stunned as the video plays on displaying Moore walking through the fireworks while walking to the ring. The video displays Moore and Tempest backstage and in their match. Suddenly the video stops and "8 Mile Road" hits the PA system again and the crowd rise to their feet, fireworks explode on the stage big and small. The arena begins to flash blue and red and appearing on-stage without the fans approval is Matt "The maimer" Moore wearing a blue Orlando Magic jersey with Moore written on the back as well as blue jeans. He walks down the ring with his mentor Tempest whom is wearing formal clothes. The fans boo Moore and Tempest as they both walk into the ring, Moore ignores them and walks over to the ring announcer. Tempest snatches the microphone of Peter Santos and begins to talk as Moore makes his way over to ringside to grab a steel chair.]

Tempest: Shut up! Shut up all of you. You people have no right to boo this man, this man has worked and worked his ass off in this ring and you people cannot even dress your self's properly, let alone tie your shoe laces or your feed yourself.

[The crowd continue to boo Tempest as Moore is back into the ring with the steel chair folded out he sits down and takes the microphone from Tempest.]

Matt "The Maimer" Moore: A few days ago while I was sitting in one your low down hospitals with my arm in a sling thinking that my career was over just as I had hit the big time. And due to stuff ups by your crappy doctors it was supposed to be proven, but yesterday one the greatest things that I have ever heard was told to me by my best friend and the greatest wrestler of all time and I am talking about this man "Tempest". But anyway I want you stupid people to know that "The Maimer" is back in business and my arm is back at 100% and I believe that when I was injured I was at 3 and 3 and I had lost my last three in a row, but things are about to change about here, there is no more Mr Nice Guy and since that "The Desired Freak" is know left the MWF due to personal problems, and I was sitting at the house last week and I know that Jay-Z beat him and retained his title so Jay-Z there is a new number one contender in town and he means business, Listen up Jay-Z I want that Xtreme Title and if I have to beat your ass doing it I will! Jay-Z you may think you're a hero of this fed but if you choose to wrestle me one on one for that Xtreme Title, you will be going from Hero to Zero in a matter of seconds.

[Tempest takes the mike back, he stands up and strolls around the ring. He speaks slowly and clearly...]

Tempest: Now, in all my years I have seen a lot of wrestlers come and go in the industry and I've always tried my best to stay in touch with those who are considered...shall we say...a cut above the rest?

[The crowd boo loudly, but Tempest raises his hand for silent.]

Tempest: This man, sitting in the ring right now is a fine example of a young man who deserves every chance to try and be the number one man in the Maximum Wrestling Federation...and why stop there? He could well be the number one wrestler in America if he takes his time and along the way captures titles which will enhance his reputation. See, this business is all about having a reputation...I have a reputation and that is that I'll take you into the ring and I'll give you one hell of a match and beat the living...

[The crowd suddenly explode as "Enter The Jeopardy" hits the PA system and the MWF's Xtreme Title holder walks out from behind a smallish wall of red fireworks. The Jeopardizer is dressed in a snappy ring attire, with red leather trousers displaying his logo and name. He rubs the MWF Xtreme Title that is on his shoulder and smiles down into the ring.]

The Jeopardizer: Well, well, well, look who we have here...the 'great' Tempest and his protege, Matt Moore. I thought it would be rude of me to sit in the back and pay no attention to such a challenge, from a man such as yourself. You see, Tempest, Moore, you've comeback into the MWF and you've decided that you can just walk right in and take a shot at this....[Jay-Z points at the MWF Xtreme Title.]...well the MWF Xtreme Title is a belt that doesn't like to be moved.

Tempest: Someone had better call the movers, because that belt is going around my friend's waist.

The Jeopardizer: Your friend? I thought that your relationship was purely busines...isn't 'your student' a much better term?

Tempest: Son of a...

The Jeopardizer: Whoah! Before you disgrace yourself with bad language, let me tell you a thing or two...there is man who faces me tonight for the MWF Xtreme Title, that man is Chris Drebbin, if you, Matt Moore can beat Chris Drebbin on Monday Night Dynamite then you can take a shot at my title.

Tempest: What if you don't beat Drebbin?

The Jeopardizer: If I don't beat Drebbin, then Dynamite will simply become a triple threat for the MWF Xtreme Title....and that's all folks, because the J-to the-A-Y-Z said so!

[The crowd roar as "Enter The Jeopardy" hits again and The Jeopardizer walks off through the entrance way, Tempest is left smirking in the ring while Matt Moore seems very calm.]

Sully: Did you hear that JP? The MWF Xtreme Title is going to be a real busy title soon!

JP: It's going to be a hell of a match tonight, The Jeopardizer against Drebbin, but now we have the added spice of Matt Moore being in the mix if Jay-Z or Drebbin loses.

Sully: I like Moore...he's got the great Tempest with him.

JP: Why is Tempest a legend?

Sully: Because he has a reputation JP...bit like you have one.

JP: I do?

Sully: As an annoying old man, hahaha!

JP: I think that Matt Moore will fall foul of his own self confidence.

Sully: No he won't...
