Who is your hero in or out of bmx?

I have 1 idle in bmx and 1 who is the lead signer of the band (tool). The idle which I have in bmx is the rider of Nathan May, I admire May because hes a good bloke and a wicked rider. I also admire Mynard Keenan initially  because of his lyrical talent, yet in reality he is just a genius in my eyes.

How did you get involved in bmx?

Watched bmx bandits and just couldn't resist, I just wanted to get out there and have a go myself, as it looked like it was a buzz!

We all know you moved to England for a year, how was the standard of racing compared to australian standards?

There is a lot less riders over there, but the really dedicated riders over there have a real talent. So its much the same as over here, but with a lot less riders.

Did you do much riding while you were in England?

No not much riding, while I was in England I did a lot of travelling. The weather was too unpredictable, too cold on most occasions to go out and train! The season only really operates for around 6 months its to cold and wet to race the other 6 months.

Do you think that bmx has a future for you?

I dont feel that I will get serious again, I will still ride as a recreational rider at this stage. I would like to make a big come back eventually. At this stage im currently doing year 12, which makes it a little harder on me! You should see me back out there one day, not sure when, but I will be back out there!

Any special thanks to anyone?

To all of the committee members, if we didnt have them there would be no BMX. My parents and to all of the other riders out there, thanks a lot.
