Site InformationSite InformationThis is a fully functional web site for a fictional company, Mazzetis Catering Services. The web site was developed by Mollie Anthony C. de Guia for demonstration and educational purposes only.
The objective of this project is to help Mazzetis Catering Services market its services to a broad spectrum of audience with the use of the "Internet" as the main medium of communication thus achieving cost savings in marketing cost, reaching a larger number of audience and increasing productivity.
Along with these objectives are to create a site that would be easy to navigate, would attract and keep more audiences by giving out free recipes and tips, keep in touch with our clients through the newsletter, make the site simple and maintainable yet visually appealing and be compatible as possible with Internet Explorer 5.x, Netscape Navigator 4.x, and Opera 5.x.
The technologies used in this project are HTML 4.01, Javascript and Cascading Style Sheets Level 1. The author tried to separate structure of the document from its appearance as much as possible while still supporting majority of the older and buggy browsers.
Since the site is going to be hosted free - via geocities, I wouldn't be able to create my own scripts to enhance the interactivity of the site. So I have to settle with the free pre-installed scripts on the server. No E-business/E-commerce yet for this site as its main goal is for marketing only but it could be incorporated into the site with the use of other technologies and services.
