On June 9, 2000, we left our homes on Hawaii and started an extended vacation heading East across the Globe. After visiting family on the West Coast, we looked forward to a rendevouz in Stockholm, Sweden with our dear friends the Daniels. We had a fantastic summer with them in Scandinavia before we parted and each went our separate ways, them to the Baltics, us back to California.      We returned to California for our 40th Antioch High School Reunion, and, thank You God, to have the chance to say good-bye to Marty's Dad who died on Labor Day. So here are some pages with pictures sharing a bit of our memories along the way.

• June 9, to July 4, 2000 found us flying from Hawaii to California, to visit our family and friends in California, Oregon and Nevada.
• July 2000 we spent with the Daniels in Stockholm & Goeteborg, Sweden, Copenhagen & Aarhus, Denmark.
• August 2000 found us leaving Oslo and heading for Bergen via the "Norway In a Nutshell" route, taking the Hurtigruten trip above the Artic Circle to Kirkenes, Norway and then down into Finland and Estonia.

On September 2, 2000, we returned to California for our 40th High School Reunion. We believe we were guided home at this time to have our final visit with Marty's father, who died on Labor Day, September 4, 2000. Rest in Peace Winston John Basista.
