June 9, 2000, We Arrive in San Francisco
| Marghe is happy as a clam sitting in First Class ready to leave Hawaii for the start of our "Grand Adventure" together. | |
We arrived in San Francisco, a city well known and loved by both of us. We enjoyed the beauty of the San Francisco skyline, "up close". | |
| Marghe and I also enjoyed shopping in San Francisco, as well as eating there. |  |
We visited with Margaret and Ray Harper soon after arriving in California. This was a fun time, enjoyed by all. |  |
| The very next day we met up with eldest son Eric and his family. We went to the ocean to cool down with them. |  |
Here we see Beth retreating from the cold Pacific water, while son Eric plays with the romping grandchildren, Eriel and Eliza. It was a scroching, hot day inland, and we all found a bit or respite along the shore. | |
