Nepal, a developing land locked country in Asia between two giants India and China falls below the poverty line, is a land of peace and patriot, brave and bold where the light bearer of peace first dawned called Gautam Buddha. If someone turns over the pages of history, no one will be able to deny the patriotism, bravery and honesty of Nepalese development the globe. But now even in this 21 st century there is a brain drain because of not getting sufficient and magnificent, sophisticated and dedicated mental and professional training. In the same way approximately eighty six years back a true and brave Nepalase took birth in a village called Suntakhan which is situated north-east of Kathmandu valley at the distance of approximately 15 km named Min Bahadur Bista. This very man after his primary education in this very village joined Royal Nepal Army and went to India where he took part in Second World War. From there itself he got the training in athletics from Army School and came back to Nepal . And this vary man again went to Delhi in 1951 to participate in first Asian game as a Marathon and got himself registered in Marathon history as a brave Nepali.
At that time not only the Nepalese media and people gave him a great applause and respect but even the Indian people and media didn't spare this golden opportunity to let it go without notice.
But unfortunately this great Marathon man was scratched away from us by the crewel hand on 17 th Ashad 2060 BC to uplift the Nepalese young and Javelins in the sports sectors on the foot print of late Min Bahadur this organization Min Bahadur Bista Memorial Center is sent up to develop the sports, players and culture of the nation.
This non profitable social organization has been established according to organization register act B.S. 2034 at District Administrative Office, Kathmandu.
