Art Alexakis, Everclear's leading man, is a happy camper these days. He's engaged to be married this August to a woman -- an ex-model, actually -- named Stephanie Greg.

When asked about her in an interview last week about the band's next album, Alexakis revealed, "I met her in New York. She's from Alaska. She likes Pina Coladas and long walks on the beach, and ... She's a good person." (A little ode to Rupert Holmes' wonderfully goofy 1979 hit, "Escape [The Pina Colada Song].")

Now, if we're to believe Mr. Alexakis, the wedding's gonna be huge -- about 300 people, he says -- and "we're flying up a disco band from L.A. to play on a riverboat for the bachelor/bachelorette party." (Hmmm, I'd say it's a safe bet that he was just yanking our chain on that one. Ya think?)
