Let's organize our strips. You should have 5 strips of I-spy hexagons numbered 1 - 5 (abbreviated IS 1-5) and 4 strips with 4 patches and QST numbered 1 - 4 (abbreviated Divider Strip "DS 1-4").
Once you lay it out you will see the pattern. The bottom color on the I-spy strips should match the color between the 4 patches and QST's.
Once you have these sewn together, you will need to find your border fabric that should be cut into 4 - 5" strips. I would recommend sewing the strips to the top and bottom and then the two sides. There should be just enough.
Now you can bat it, back it, and quilt it how you would like.
TAA-DAA!! You should now have a very interesting and hopefully worthwhile I-spy or ABC quilt just in time to give to your young loved one.
Thank you for joining me in this mystery, I'm glad that you stayed long enought to finish the quilt, and I hope that you've enjoyed doing this.
As before, if you have any questions, please let me know at mbeebe68@hotmail.com. If you would like to send me a scan of the final quilt I would really like to see it. If you would like to present this mystery to a group, that is okay, just let me know. If you want to sell this Mystery, don't, save that option for me. {grin} Thanks a lot. Marge
