Royal Project
Initiated by His majesty the King, the royal project aims to develop year-round agricultural practices for local hilltribe people of Doi Inthanon. Part of the aims of this project is to reduce the dependence of local people on opium cultivation. The project incorporates the use of new agricultural technology and research about temperate vegetation. Aside from its agricultural benefit tourists can also visit and enjoy the wondrous combination of flower and plant color that occur year-round.
