This hike is the paramount hike in the state of Washington. This hike is 25 miles one way and goes through some very pristine wilderness. The end of the hike is at Gamma Hot Springs, hot being an understatement. These springs are 140 degrees and have to be cooled using the creek that runs right next to it and draining water in to cool it off. Though the hike is not for the tenderfoot I rate this hike at the top hike on my list of hikes.
The top picture shows me standing behind the biggest pool at Gamma Hot Springs. This is a grueling hike but well worth the time and energy it takes to achieve the goal. The lower picture shows Gamma Ridge in the forground and Glacier Peak in the background.
