Rules:
Rosters:
You must pick twenty-one (21) players:
Nine (9) Forwards
Six (6) Defencemen
One (1) Goaltender
Five (5) Substitutes
Substitutes can be of any position; positions of which to choose from are at your discretion.
Fees:
The fee is $10; winner takes all. If there is a tie, money will be divided equally amongst the winners.
Substitutions:
Substitutes can only be activated in the event of injury, or elimination; NOT for lacklustre play. In the event of elimination, substitutes can only be activated at the start of the succeeding round. Substitute's points will only be accumulated from the time they are inserted into your lineup. Substitutes can only replace players of the same position. Substitutions must also be made at your discretion; I will not be responsible for making them for you, so stay on top of things. E-mail your substitutions to rbowmi7626@rogers.com.
There will be no waiver, trade, or free agent transactions. All picks are final. All picks must be in no later than 6:59 PM est on Wednesday April 9.
Scoring:
Players will be assigned:
One-Half (1/2) point per PIM
One (1) point per goal
One (1) point per assist
One (1) additional point for a goal scored in overtime
Goalies will be assigned:
Two (2) points per win
Three (3) points per point (goal/assist)
Five (5) points per shut out
Goalies are not allotted points for PIMs
Addendum:
To clarify: If a player is injured, e-mail me telling me which sub you wish to replace the injured player with PRIOR to the game (of the injured player). If the injured player plays in his next game, the substitution is not made; if the injured player does not play, the substitution will be made and you will receive the substitution's fantasy points (should he have any) from that game (i.e. if player X does not play in game 3, player Y, the substitution, will receieve points from that players next game). But you MUST inform me prior to the games being played. Once a substitute is activated, he is in your lineup and cannot be removed until either his team is eliminated, or he is injured. If a player is a game-time decision (due to injury) e-mail me and we will work something out.
