Babe Ruth slammed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and Walter Johnson completed the
game without help from the bullpen as the Brentwood Bearcats outscored the
Bat Cracking Bombers 11 to 2.

Ruth enjoyed a big evening at the plate.  He cleared the fences for a two-run
home run in the 1st inning, laced a base-knock in the 3rd inning, smacked a
three-run homer (his 3rd of the season) in the 4th inning and lined a single
in the 6th inning.  Neither team managed to score after the 4th inning.

The victory went to Johnson(3-0) who went the distance allowing 2 runs.
Christy Mathewson(2-1) ended up with the loss.  He was touched for 4 homeruns
in his 4 innings of work.

With the win, Brentwood continued their winning ways; their streak now stands
at 6 games and counting.
