25,129 fans were treated to a fine game at Dodger Stadium as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end.  The North Eaton Posy DagGumits won
by the slimmest of margins, 8 to 7.

Bill Dickey enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He blasted a two-run home run
(his 1st of the season) in the 1st inning, tripled in the 3rd inning and
doubled plating two runs in the 5th inning.  Kelso had a chance in the 9th
but they came up short.

Ed Morris(2-0) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Morris got
help from Jeff Montgomery who earned his 6th save.  Bob Feller(1-3) absorbed
the loss.  He was knocked around by North Eaton, allowing 10 hits and 3 walks
in 6 and 1/3 innings.
