Ed Reulbach completed the game without help from the bullpen and left fielder
Tip O'Neill had 4 hits and 5 RBI as the Lake Erie Mohawks topped the Athens
Bobkittens by a score of 13 to 4 at Tiger Stadium.

O'Neill had a great evening at the plate.  He bombed a two-run dinger (his 3rd
of the season) in the 2nd inning, doubled in the 4th inning, delivered a
one-base hit bringing in two baserunners in the 7th inning and lashed a
single bringing in a run in the 9th inning.  Lake Erie totaled 15 on the
night.

The win went to Reulbach(4-0) who allowed 4 runs in the game. Carl Mays(3-3)
was tagged with the loss.  O'Neill was in a good mood after the game, 'I'm
just seeing and hitting the ball real well now.  I made some adjustments last
week and they are paying off.  That's what this game is about. making
adjustments as the season goes along.'
