Howie Camnitz tossed a complete game as the Lake Erie Mohawks beat the
Cleveland Mayors by a score of 9 to 3.

Lake Erie went ahead for good in the top of the 3rd inning scoring 3 runners
on 2 hits.  The key offensive moment was provided by Mickey Cochrane who
silenced the crowd when he singled bringing in two baserunners.  Lake Erie
banged out 17 on the night. 

The win went to Camnitz(3-3) who allowed 3 runs in the game. Amos Rusie(2-5)
was hit with the loss.  He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 8 runs
in 4 and 2/3 innings.
