Ridgeville Bandits by the score of 8 to 4. The game started off with Grand River taking the lead in the first when they scored 3 runs on 5 hits. The key at-bat was by Raines who quieted the home crowd when he doubled which was good for two runs. Grand River totaled 16 on the afternoon. Grove(5-8) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Spud Chandler(5-6) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 8 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings. |
