Ed Delahanty stepped up to the plate and he would hit into a fielders choice scoring a run. Dickey then lined a single. After another out, Rogers Hornsby stepped in and he hit a sacrifice fly scoring the final run of the inning. North Eaton managed 15 in their victory. The victory went to Will White(4-2) who went 2 and 2/3 innings, allowing no runs. Jeff Montgomery got the save, his 18th. Sid Fernandez(3-11) ended up with the loss in relief. He allowed 2 runs and 3 hits in 2 and 2/3 innings. North Eaton continued their winnings ways improving their record to a division leading 48-25. They are 9-1 in their last ten games.
