At Candlestick Park the seemingly unstoppable North Eaton Posy DagGumits
outscored the Sacramento Soches 5 to 2.

North Eaton took the lead off Catfish Hunter in the first inning when they
tallied 3 runs on 2 hits.  That scoring would be all that was needed.  North
Eaton had a total of 10 hits for the game.

The winning pitcher was Ed Walsh(9-4) who allowed 1 run in 6 innings. Walsh
was helped out by Jeff Montgomery who recorded his 19th save.  Hunter(0-1)
was the loser.  He pitched 5 innings allowing 4 hits and 2 walks.

With the win, North Eaton continued their winning ways; their streak now
stands at 8 games and counting.
