Hank Aaron connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI at Tiger Stadium as the
Bat Cracking Bombers beat the struggling Grand River Ghostmen 5 to 2.

Mario Soto(4-1) looked good in relief and was the winning pitcher.  He didn't
give up much, just 1 hit and 1 walk in 2 and 2/3 innings and racked up 4
strikeouts lowering his ERA to 1.84.  Both teams ended up with 10 on the
night. 

Lefty Grove(5-11) took the loss.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 10 hits and
8 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
