Murphy providing the offense himself as he belted a solo home run (his 3rd of the season) making Hinckley victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. The game was a wild affair with the lead changing hands 5 times. The victory went to Lee Smith(2-5) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing no runs. Dick Hughes(4-3) was the loser in relief.
