Lenny Dykstra had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Hinckley Buzzards defeated the
Athens Bobkittens by a score of 11 to 10 at Tiger Stadium.

Jim Kaat(1-0) was lucky to get the win as he struggled out there tonight.  He
gave up 13 hits and 2 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings and gave up 3 homeruns.
Athens was not lacking for run support as they scored in 5 separate innings,
yet victory eluded them as they seemed to forget that pitching is also needed
to win ballgames.

Carl Mays(7-9) suffered the loss.
