The Hinckley Buzzards won by the slimmest of margins, 2 to 1. The score was tied at 1 after nine. Hinckley came out on top in the 10th inning. Frank Robinson drew a walk. Roy Campanella was next and he banged out a single. Luis Aparicio then laid down a sacrifice bunt. Ralph Kiner stepped in and he was walked intentionally to load the bases. Rickey Henderson came to the plate and delivered a one-base hit scoring the run. Hinckley managed only 3 on the night. Kent Tekulve(3-3) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings. Tekulve was helped out by Rollie Fingers who recorded his 12th save. Jerry Koosman(0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief. The Hinckley ballclub's record now stands at 35-56. With this loss, N.
