Ridgeville Bandits by the score of 9 to 4. Clemente enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He tripled plating a run in the 5th inning and cracked a two-run shot (his 9th of the season) in the 8th inning. Offensively, Kelso was a juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings. The winning pitcher was Pfiester(9-6) who allowed 4 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings. Dizzy Dean(8-3) absorbed the loss. He gave up 15 hits and no walks in 7 innings. 'He was really impressive tonight,' Dean said of his counterpart. 'Our guys were just swinging at air.' |
