Orlando Cepeda had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Hinckley Buzzards outscored the
Cleveland Mayors 7 to 5.

Hinckley tallied 4 runs in the 2nd inning when they had 5 base hits.  The key
at-bat was by Carl Yastrzemski who brought the crowd to their feet when he
doubled which was good for two runs.  Cleveland made it exciting in the 9th,
but they were unable to push the needed runs across.

Juan Marichal(6-9) was the winner allowing 5 runs in 7 innings. Rollie Fingers
recorded his 13th save.  Herb Pennock(5-9) absorbed the loss.  He was knocked
around by Hinckley, allowing 11 hits and 2 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.

'I had a little blister on my index finger before the game, but I thought it
was nothing.' Marichal said.  'I was lucky I got a win because I couldn't put
the ball where I wanted it.'
