Hi

Well I have played a card game with the crew and they are so funny. In a little bit Rebecca, Carole and I are going to Boston to hangout. I think i am really going to like it here. It might take me a while to get really comfortable but it helps that the people are really nice. Carole said that we are leaving here on early Wednesday morning. Well I will talk to you later.

First Day

Well today went okay. I am still a little nervous and had regrets but I am not letting that stop me. I think after I get through the first night then I will be okay. Today we went and saw the USS Constitution. Then we walked up to the North end and went to the famous Mike's Pasteries. We played Ultimate Frisbee in Revere Park and then came back to the ship. Then they had a big celebration with the people who work at the dock and for us. Outback steak house catered the meal and it was really good. After that we played frisbee again in the parking lot. Then we had to give a tour to all the people that were at the celebration. Then Carole, Bongo, Jeff, and I went down the street to the store to pick up some snacks. My rooming has changed I am now on the bottom bunk in the other cabin. Well I will talk to you later. I think I will feel much better when we get underway again.
Bye

2nd Day

Today we had another big celebration with the Eastern Salt Company. We opened the ship for tours and I help Rebecca at the store. I am now considered an official crew member b/c I have the sweatshirt to prove it. Tomorrow and Tuesday we are having tours to school children. If their teachres are anything like the teachers I had in when I was 7 they should behave. Last night we
decided to have a little fun so Lucas the crazy Canadian cook, Bongo my roomate, Carole, Dylan, Jeff, Trevor and I all climbed the giant salt mountain next to the dock. Well I will write to you later I am not sure when I am going to call so...

I have finally started to open up more to people and we are getting along great. We had a new girl Caroline come on yesterday and she is really cool we talk all the time. Trevor and I got in a shaving cream fight today...why...I don't know. Today was the first day that I went up in the rigging. I went up with Megan and Carole and Caroline. I was scared but once I got up there I was okay...kinda. I haven't gone out on the yard yet, I will save that for another day. I also help furl the jib which also required me to climb out to the front of the boat, I think I was more scared to do that cause you aren't hooked up to anything and the deck has been slippery cause it has been raining but I did it and that is what counts. The last couple of days we have been doing tours to school children which has been cool cause I learned a lot from teaching them. The other night we got another crew member, Julian who is also from Canada and he is so funny him and Lucas together just kill me. It has been really cold here which stinks but hopefully we will hit better weather. Tomorrow we are leaving at 8 and hopefully will arrive in Duxbury before dark. Oh I guess I will list of the crew if y'all want to know. There is Capt. Robin Walbridge, Third mate Julian, Lucas (the crazy Canadian cook), Brett a.k.a. Bongo (my quad mate), Carole, Megan, Rebecca, Trevor (the Texan), Caroline, Dylan, Emma, and Ed. Med who I met my first day and have heard a lot about will be coming back on in Plymouth. Matt the other third mate I think will be leaving us tomorrow morning. Well I guess that is it for now. I haven't hurt myself yet, although I do have a sunburn on one side of my face which I didn't know about till Trevor got me with the shaving cream in the face and it hurt so I guess I should use my sunscreen more often (ooppps). Well I will talk to you later.
