"Cool," said Nora absently, blinking at the brightness of the four colors of the entrance hall. Red, yellow,
green, and blue. It reminded her of something. She wasn't sure what. "What's in here, anyway?"
"You," said the strange cloaked person.
"Very funny," said Nora, rolling her eyes. "Frikken cookies for you. But what's in here?
What's the whole point of you leading me here if there's nothing besides a bunch of bright colors?"
"These are the contents of your mind," said the strange cloaked person, making expansive sweeping
gestures Nora thought to be very silly. "Yours and those of all else who have entered here."
"Oh, sure. Color me awed."
"Do not underestimate the power of collective minds," he continued. "This castle holds many secrets, and
its rulers hold more power than you know. The key to all the world lies in one of you..."
"Okay!" Nora snapped. "Enough with the mystic riddles and secrets. You're so annoying. I want
out of here."
He offered no resistance and she pushed the outer doors open easily, once again revealing sunlight to the
room. But it was different sunlight than she'd come out of. Instead of the small park she'd been
walking through before she'd come into this building, there was an opener, brighter hilltop. There were no
other buildings in sight. And it looked like a different time of day.
Nora swore and stepped backwards. "You... what... how..."
The strange cloaked person moved his head ever so slightly - Nora was sure he was smiling.
"Never mind that now," he told her smilingly. "Think. Explore. Your friends are waiting for you."
