The Y'all Ball - Location One: Casa Anita

<< Back | Ball Dates | Ball Dining | Secret Adobe
Special thanks to PH19, who has been the Location Coordinator Person.
Please note: This is taken from the First Attempt on the Y'all Ball, and I doubt if (in the future) the Ball will be held at Casa Anita. This is mainly here for Historical purposes.

OK. We're (obviously) having the ball in Anita's castle. Specifically, in a large room inside Anita's castle - maybe the size of a larger school gym but with much better acoustics. It's a rectangle - longer east/west than north/south. The walls, ceiling, and empty sections of the tables are festooned with flowers, mostly springtime ones but with a few poinsettias and such thrown in just because.

In the northeast corner of the room, next to a Harry Potter poster, is the refreshment table, adorned with a bright pink tablecloth. On this table are - well, that's the food caterer's business. Who was that again? Anita? I forget. :(

In the southeast corner, next to a Backstreet Boys poster (only those two posters, don't worry) is a second table. This contains the main CD player (although speakers are placed at equal intervals along the walls, this is where you choose what music to play) a microphone in case you have any announcements, and a disco ball. (Oooooh... colored moving lights... oooooh... pretty...)

The rest of the east half of the floor is bare and that's where you're supposed to dance.

And what did I do with the west half, you ask? That's simple enough. With the extra $35 galleons given by charitable people I can't remember the names of, and the fact that everything's much cheaper because Anita has unpaid house elves, we were able to install a swimming pool.
