My personal journey to accept the Triunity of the Universe came from a philsophical trilemma. I read that on the one hand everything can resolve into duality, or dualism. Another school said that that isn't true - that not everything resolves into dualism. Yet another school said that all resolves into a single unnamed third substance or energy, or monism. I realized that the three philosophies are mutually reconciliable - thus triunism was born. The tenets of this philosophy are that all three traditional philosophies are correct. The third is viewed as the synthesis of the two former ones and is viewed as being complementary, not exclusive of the former two.

For example, Truth is a monism and is the synthesis of two different things that are traditional opposites to the inclusion of those traditional opposites within a triunity. Answer and Question are the two things that combine to produce Truth. Thus, there is a triunity of truth, question, and answe.

Exact opposites exist within triunism only so far as dualism is concerned. The dynamism within dualism combined with the dynamism between dualism and monism - between opposites and between the opposites and the synthetic product - produces a living quality, which could be the basis of all consciousness.
