I have been in some type of uniform since 14years old.  In high school, I attended Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) classes and was so involved, that I completed all four years in only three.  I enlisted in the Arizona Army National Guard when I was 17 and went to Basic Training between my Junior and Senior years of High School.  After high school, I attended my advanced training as a Fire Support Specialist at Ft. Sill, OK and upon graduation, began attending Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, MO.  Upon completion, I earned a commision as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves.  When I returned to Arizona, I learned from my commanding officer, the Arizona Highway Patol was accepting applications.  I applied and approximately 14 months later, was hired and attended the Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy (ALETA) in Tucson, AZ.  During my time with the Department, I was called back to active duty training to attend the U.S. Army Military Police, Officer Basic in Ft. McClellan, AL.  I have Since completed my obligation with the reserves and received my discharge.  Too many pans in the fire and not enough time.
