| It is a beautiful sunny day. You arrive on Diagon Alley to purchase everything you will need in school. When you have bought everything, you manage to go to King's Cross and find the line 9 3/4. You get on the train in an empty place. When you arrive near Hogwarts, Hagrid welcomes you and all the other first years and you then use the boats to go to the entrance. When you enter the castle, you are in a huge hall with a marble floor. A lady stands in front of you, up the marble stairs. She looks serious. Suddenly, she grins and start to talk: "Welcome to Hogwarts, school of witchcrafts and wizardry. I am Madame Hooch, flying teacher and quidditch supervisor. I hope you all understand that this is a school... I would appreciate it if you'd take the responsibility and the time to read the rules a bit later. In a minute, we will go into to common room and you will be sorted into your house. Houses are like a family... I'll say it again... Houses are like a new family... It would be nice that you try to get along with your classmates and roommates. Enough talking now... Let's go!" She guides you into the common room. The ceiling looks perfectly like the sky and there are candle floating all over the room. Your walk towards the Professor's table and wait in line. When Madame Hooch says your name, you walk quietly to sit on a little chair and she puts an old hat on your head... |
