The Lord of the Hunt
Updated March 22, 2004
Oh, there's a story behind this chap.  He's puzzled me for twenty years.
A friend named him only a few years ago.  The Lord of the Hunt seemed as good as anything, so..
*Sic*  Here goes with the psychotic thoughts.  *Ahem*  At any rate, many years ago, in a college half way across the continent from here, a friend and I were interested in parasychology.
(Oh, like that's a surprize if you've been looking at some of my other pictures!)  One night we sat in his dorm room experimenting with those cards with the waves, stars, circles and what not (Get your mind out of the gutter, that's all we were doing!). It was my turn, and I leaned back against his closet and closed my eyes to relax.  A scene came to me, in this relaxed state, of sitting just inside the mouth of a cave, with a camp fire.  It was dark, but there was just enough light to see hints of a body of water beyond the fire and a forest.   I relaxed further into this vision, as I found it quite pleasant.  Suddenly, this chap (pictured above) stepped out of the shadows.  Not a threatening presence.  More just curious.  But he did startle me, as he is not the usual product of my imagination, and that blew my concentration for the rest of the night!
Heck of a note, up until that moment, M and I had a fairly decent percentage going, though at the time we thought it was disappointing.
