This class is an introductory class in the Tech Ed field of study. It will focus on hands-on activities as well as applications in math, science, and engineering.
Students will be put into groups and study different topics in technology. The topics available right now are Aerodynamics, Mechanisms, Industrial Control, Electronics, Navigation and GPS, and Graphic Animation.
Students are graded on 10 assignments per module and 2 tests per module. Their grade is based on a percentage with 100% being the highest. Assignments are done as a group and tests are taken individually. Attendance is crucial and will count against the grade if sufficient time is missed. There is no homework as all materials must remain in the school. Assignments can be made up during class or during Flex. Arrangements can be made for extensive absences.
