Dear Uncle aunt and cousin
I will drop you a few lines to let you know that we are all tolerable well. M J is not right well we have another girl born the 15 of May I suppose you have heard of aunt Junes death we never heard it until she had been dead a week or more James Chandler marry last Sunday a widow with either 5 or 7 children ma says to ask you if you and uncle Henry can come over this summer she hats she wants to see you all very bad she dont think she will hardly be able to get over there this time if nothing happends and MJ gets able to come we want to get over there. Sometime this year and we all cant leave home at once as we have no one to stay with the children if i do get over there i would like to be there on meeting day at Gilgal please let me know what Sunday you have meeting i want you all to come to see us. none of my people hardly ever come to see us write soon and give us all the news your Nephew and Niece A.L. & M.
