noun-               A noun names a person, place, thing, or an idea.

pronoun-         A pronoun takes the place of a noun.

adjective-         An adjective describes a noun or a pronoun.

verb-                 A verb expresses action or being.

adverb-             An adverb modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.

preposition-     A preposition relates a noun or a pronoun to another word in the sentence.

conjunction-    A conjunction connects words or groups of words.

interjection-     An interjection shows strong feeling or emotion.
