Services for Mrs. Dorothy Maynard Miller of 10 Crestmont Rd. and wife of Donald M. Miller were held yesterday in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Mrs. Miller died Sunday in Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge. She was 73. Born in Washington, she had been a resident of Montclair for 58 years and was a member of the Montclair Chapter of the American Red Cross and of the Women’s Auxiliary of Mountainside Hospital. She was a past member of the Montclair Junior League. Besides her husband, Mrs. Miller is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margery M. Woods of New Canaan, Conn. and Mrs. Paul Gilbert of Ridgewood; two step-sons, Gardner B. Miller of West Caldwell and Paul H. Miller of Sea Girt; a sister, Mrs. Howard D. Auglaize County Native, 82 To Be Buried At Lewistown Mrs. William D. (Mary Elizabeth) Pence, 82, died at 11 a. m. Wednesday in the home of a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin (Marjorie) Arnett, 1165 Erie Avenue, with whom she resided. She had been in failing health for a number of years. Born in Auglaize County December 30, 1881, the deceased was a daughter of John C. and Thursa Jane McKercher. Her husband preceded her in death in 1938. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.. Arnett and Mrs. Russell (Jeanette) Alloway, 100 Garfield Avenue; nine grandchildren and two step-brothers, Wilbert Wheeler, in Sidney, and Kirby Wheeler, Columbus. A daughter, Mrs. Katherine Cory died in May 1963, and a brother, a sister, a stepson and a stepdaughter are dead. Mrs. Pence was a member of the Jackson Center Methodist Church and of the Royal Neighbors Lodge. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Van Horn Chapel at the Kennedy Funeral Home in charge of Rev. James A. Rice of Jackson Center. Mrs. Prince, 1216 W. Claredon, lived in Tucumcari, N. M. from 1928 to 1951. She had been active in parish projects at the Church of St. Gregory. Survivors include her son, Dr. John F. Prince; a sister; and four grandchildren. Rosary will be at 4:15 p. m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Home Chapel, 1110 N. 16th St. Mass will be at 10 a. m. Friday in the Church of St. Gregory, 3426 N. 18th Ave. Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home handled arrangements. Hal C. Prince, 65, former Phoenix real estate man, died Thursday in Tucson Medical Center. Mr. Prince came to Phoenix in 1912 and operated a real estate and ranch management office here until 1929. He became manager of E. T. Strong properties between Tucson and Nogales in 1935 and resided on the S Bar S ranch near Tumacacori Mission at the time of his death. Funeral services will be in Phoenix. Word was received that Margery McKercher Siedler of Montclair died Sunday at Mountainside Hospital. She was 75. Born in Washington, D. C. she lived for over 70 years in Montclair. She was a past member of the junior League of Montclair and of the Montclair Art Museum. She also worked at the Red Cross in Orange at the Braille bindery. During World War II, she worked at the Newark Officer’s Club and in Montclair as a Red Cross Gray Lady. Mrs. Siedler is the daughter of the late Nettie England and Clark McKercher. Immediate survivors include her son, Clark McKercher Simms of Poughkeepsie, N.
