"So--- that's sort of like basketball on broomsticks with six hoops isn't it?", as Harry Potter explains it.  Quidditch is the most popular sport in the wizarding world.  There are 7 players on each team and it all takes place in midair.  There are 3 chasers, 2 Beaters, 1 Keeper, and 1 Seeker.  Quidditch also involves a variety of balls.  There's the Quaffle, the Bludger (which flies around trying to knock players off their broomsticks), and the tiny, winged, golden Snitch.  The Chasers fly around trying to get the red, soccerball-sized Quaffle through the fifty-foot high goal hoops.  Ten points for every goal.  The Beaters use there clubs to hit the Bludgers towards the opposite team.  The Keeper flies around the hoops trying to keep the other team from scoring.  And finally, the Seeker, which is Harry's position, tries to catch the Snitch.  When the Snitch is caught, the game ends, and the team that has captured it gets 150 points.
