We had a wonderful vacation this year in Beautiful British Columbia. Aside from visiting family and friends, we spent two weeks exploring the beauty and culture of Haida Gwaii (The Queen Charlotte Islands). We arrived by air but decided to take advantage of the opportunity to see the Inside Passage on our return leg via B.C. Ferries. It was a long journey back to Vancouver Island, starting with a 7 hour ferry ride from Skidegate to Prince Rupert. We spent the night in Prince Rupert and then returned to the ferry terminal at 6:30 am the following morning to board The Queen of the North for the 15 hour cruise to Port Hardy. The weather was less than ideal, overcast and misty, but we enjoyed the beautiful vistas nonetheless. Check out our Haida Gwaii Photo Album.
