Here are some pictures of my Bantam Ameraucanas. (commonly mistaken as Araucana, or spelt Americana). I have Blue Wheatens, Blue, and Black. They are famous for laying a blue/green tinted egg (Pink, tank or olive-green eggs are not true to the breed's standard). This breed comes in both Bantam and Standard size. They have Beards, Muffs, Peacomb, and Slate-Gray colored legs. If an Ameraucana does not have these features, its not true, but a backyard 'mutt' (or Easter Egger) bred for colored eggs, not show. I am breeding these to the APA standard. Nice little birds! Please visit the Ameraucana vs, Araucana page for more breed info!
