FIRE. The dwelling house of Uriah Sides in Pine township was destroyed by
fire on Monday, the 7t inst. The particulars are about as follows: Mrs.
Sides had left the house but a few minutes before the fire was discovered,
to milk a cow, leaving her child twenty-two months old, in the house. When
the fire was discovered it had made such rapid progress that the child could
not be rescued, it was burned to death. The house with its contents was
entirely destroyed.
