A good friend of mine is putting together a sort of performance art piece and she needs YOUR help.

How would you like to see 1000 super balls rain from the sky upon an unsuspecting Ann Arbor? I'd like to see it very much and so would Amanda. She is currently collecting rubber super balls or bouncy balls to do just that. She's filling up an aluminum garbage can full of super balls and she's asking for donations in the form of quarters or more balls.

If you are interested in helping the project come to fruition, send us your balls! You could mail them to us at the address on the contact page, but if you live in town, that would be a bit wasteful. I mean, you could probably buy more balls for the price you would spend on postage. It would probably work out better if you just brought the balls to the next McQueen show that you might be planning to attend.

We are accepting all sizes, but we are most interested in solid rubber balls. They are most commonly found in gumball machines at restaurants and such, but you can also find bags of them at dollar stores (and you get more for your money that way).

The date of the drop is not set, we're waiting until we got the balls to do it. I'll be sure to post the date and location on this site. We will be filming it from several angles as well as getting some still photography shots of the event. Those will most likely be posted on the web as well.

There are no grades or money on the line, this project is purely for the enjoyment of anybody that would believe this to be beautiful.

Thank you, in advance for any support you could give for this project.
