For my commencement speech on our graduation day
I've thought for four years on what I want to say
I'm tired of being told what to think and what to say

Just cause I'm "smart" doesn't mean I'll follow rules
What am I to do now that we are out of school?

Well I'm tired of living life, by doing things "right"
I dont' want to follow the path laid down for me
'Cause I'm eighteen and I'm free, and I no longer want to be your valedictorian
