Hi! My name is MANGO. I'm a Double Yellow Headed Amazon. My ancestors come from Mexico
but I was born in Toronto, Canada on April 8th, 1999. My feathered parents are are about 10 years old and I hope to look like them
one day.
That's me at 8 weeks old when Mom & Dad
came to visit me at the breeder's home. They were so excited to see me, but they still
had to wait one more month before they could take me home...
... That day finally arrived July 12, 1999 and
although I just had my wings clipped, I got to fly in a great big
bird to Montreal. My dad told me that it was a beautiful Air Canada A319. I was a
little afraid at first but then I realized I could shread the
newspaper at the bottom of my carrier and it was a lot of fun. It
was a good thing that they took me on as carry on luggage instead
of flying me as cargo otherwise I wouldn't have met all the
people on the airplane.
Fly with me to my new home...
