Our class has watched the life cycle of butterflies right in our classroom. We received butterfly eggs and watched them hatch into caterpillars. Then we watched while they ate and ate a special caterpillar food substance. We saw them attach themselves to the tops of their homes and start the chrysalis stage. On Monday, May 22, we had six new butterflies waiting for us when we got to school! What an exciting thing to watch the life cycle of butterflies!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
