During the month of October, we will be studying about spiders: What makes a spider spin? What would life be like as a spider? |
For Reading, we will be read aloud to the class the classic Charlotte's Web*, There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, Anansi the Spider, Anansi and the Talking Melon, Anansi and the Magic Stick*, Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock, Anansi Goes Fishing, Anansi Does the Impossible*, and Anansi's Narrow Waist*. (The ones marked with an asterisk * are also Accelerated Reader books, and the students will be able to take AR tests on them after they are read to the class.) |
