| I attended Highlands School for thirteen years from 1975-1988. Upon graduating from high school, I attended Western Carolina University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I came back to Highlands in November of 1992 to accept a teaching position. I have been here ever since. I have spent most of my years in Second Grade, but I did teach a 2-3 split class one year, and a K-1 class another year. I take much pride in saying I teach at Highlands School. | Mrs. Mouchet is the assistant in my classroom. She and I have been together for 8 years. She is a definite asset in the classroom. She is great with the children and takes much pride in what she does. She has a daughter in Law School at UNC-Chapel Hill and a son at Western Carolina studying computer science. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
