Mr. Ludwig- Latin I                  Passive Verb Formation Project                   4th Quarter

 

Objective: Create a Power Point presentation that demonstrates how active verb forms are transformed into passive verb forms. 

            We will spend Monday, April 18 in the Computer Lab for this project.  Each student will be given a certain verb to use as his or her example.  You will need to make 4-7 slides with the forms of the verb on them and highlight the verb endings with colors or animations.

 

Due: Friday, April 22.  Must be dropped in Mr. Ludwig’s Drop Box on the Walnut network’s Common Drive.

 

Grading:

8 pts- Title Slide- Contains title, your Latin name, bell #, 4 principle parts of your verb

9 pts- The correct Latin forms of your verb in the Present, Imperfect, and Future Active

9 pts- The correct Latin forms of your verb in the Present, Imperfect, and Future Passive

18 pts- The correct English translations of each of your Latin forms- each trans. = 1/2 pt

18 pts- For using color or a visual animation to highlight the proper ending of each form

18 pts- For using animations to highlight the English translation of your Latin forms

10 pts- For how well the artistic elements of your presentation fit together- appropriate layout,   color, background, and animations

5 pts- The correct Perfect Active forms in Latin and English

5 pts- For using color or a visual animation to highlight the Perfect endings

100pts Total
